MediMobile Weekly Rounds is a look at what has happened in the past week at MediMobile, from new user preferences to company news. We want to make sure that our customers are in the loop about changes and improvements we have made to our Charge Capture solution.MediMobile-Weekly-Rounds-2013-charge-capture-solution-healthcare-7-14

This week we’ve got new integrations with Inpatient Medical Services and South Miami Inpatient Physicians – if you work with either of these organizations you’re in luck! We’ve also added a new preference to help promote better care coordination. Read on to see what’s new with MediMobile this week.

New MediMobile Integrations

We’ve established two new integrations in the past week. These integrations use hospitals’ ADT feeds to pass patient data directly to a provider’s smartphone or tablet. Not only that, but it enables mobile bill submission. This means providers can eliminate hours of time weekly wasted on paperwork.

These are our new integrations:

  • Akron General Medical Center and Inpatient Medical Services
  • Baptist Hospital of Miami and South Miami Inpatient Physicians

Want to establish an integration with your hospital? Curious if there is already an ADT feed integration in place? Contact our support team today to learn more about our integration process by emailing support@medimobile.com or calling 877.495.2070.

New MediMobile Features

We’ve also added a new preference that administrators can use to ensure physicians are coordinating their patient care efforts. The new preference requires providers to submit a PCP Direct Letter, updating the status of the patient, every time a patient is created or their status updated. PCP Direct letters can be faxed to any Primary Care Physician (hence the name PCP) or to other healthcare providers involved in the care of a patient. Our support team can easily turn on that preference for your group.

Quote for the Week

“You may not appreciate the presence of good health, but you will definitely regret the absence of good health, because health is happiness.”

– Amit Kalantri
